NEW YORK (PIX11) — You could be New York’s next millionaire and not even know it!
A couple of prize-winning $1 million Powerball tickets remain unclaimed and are set to expire soon, according to the New York State Gaming Commission.

One ticket was sold in Manhattan, and the other on Long Island.
The Manhattan-winning ticket was sold for the August 6, 2025 Powerball drawing. It is a second-prize-winning Powerball ticket, worth $1 million. The numbers for that draw were 15, 27, 43, 45, 53, and the Powerball was 10, according to officials.
The second winning ticket, also a second-prize-winning Powerball ticket, was sold for the September 1, 2025 drawing. The numbers for the drawing were 08, 25, 40, 53, and the Powerball was 5.
Prize winners have one year from the time of the drawing to claim their prize, according to game rules.
The New York State Gaming Commission advises winners to sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place.
