A piece of New York City history could be yours, for the right bid.

MetroCard vending machines recently retired by the introduction of the OMNY system are now up for grabs. New York City Transit has opened an auction on a “limited number” of old MetroCard vending and express machines.

The colorful, industrial relics were first installed back in 1999. And more importantly, weigh hundreds of pounds.

The MTA website stresses that any successful bidders who win one of the available machines must be able to pick up and transport them to their new home — and within 10 days.

The auction opened Wednesday, August 5, and runs until Wednesday, August 19, at 8 p.m.

All bids are final.
