NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — New Yorkers looking to serve the city under mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani may want to check this out.
Mamdani and his transition team have opened a resume portal for New Yorkers of “all experience levels” to build out his administration leading up to Jan. 1, 2026, when the mayor-elect officially takes office.
Mamdani’s transition team, comprised of former city and federal leaders like Lina Khan and Elana Leopold, who worked on former Mayor Bill de Blasio’s team, will be making decisions on who is hired. Former Deputy Mayor Maria Torres-Springer is also on the team.
How it works
The newly-created resume portal is looking for a “talented, inclusive and mission-driven team of public servants dedicated to improving the lives of New Yorkers” to apply.
Within the portal, applicants will fill out necessary information, such as name, phone number, email, current location and areas of expertise. With that, applicants will also have to submit a resume file.
There is an option to submit LinkedIn profile and portfolio URLs.
