State Police say a person wanted in connection with a fatal house fire and homicide in Greenville is armed and dangerous.
Troopers say they are searching for 32-year-old Thomas David Ryan of Greenville, Orange County.

They say a fire believed to have been deliberately set occurred around 7:30 p.m. Thursday at a residence on Greenville Turnpike in Greenville, police said. After it was put out, authorities located a deceased male inside.
Police describe Ryan as 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds. He’s believed to drive a 2016 gray Toyota Prius with New York license plate HNH-7671. If you see him, dial 911.
“The New York State Police, Troop F BCI, in partnership with our local, county, and federal law enforcement partners, continue to actively investigate this homicide and are pursuing every available lead to locate Thomas Ryan,” said State Police Capt. Brad Natalizio of Troop F Bureau of Criminal Investigation. “Investigators have coordinated an extensive, multi-agency effort that includes neighboring police departments, crime analysis centers, transportation partners, and aviation resources to locate the suspect.”
