A 54-year-old woman was stabbed inside an apartment building on the Upper East Side of Manhattan early Saturday afternoon, police said.

Cops arrived around 12:39 p.m. at the luxury co-op on E. 73rd St. between Second and Third Aves., where they found the victim stabbed in the stomach.

EMS medics rushed the woman to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weil Cornell where she was in stable condition.

Police took a person of interest into custody. Charges were pending.

The apartment building is one of six that form the historic pre-war Eastgate complex.
