STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A crash was reported on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge early Sunday morning.
The crash was first reported around 6 a.m. on the upper level of the Staten Island-bound side of the bridge.
The crash happened on the center span of the bridge and two of the right-hand lanes were closed, according to an alert from 511NY.
Although unconfirmed, three vehicles were reported to be involved in the crash, according to emergency transmissions.
No injuries were reported, according to emergency transmissions, and an FDNY spokesperson said the department was not needed at the scene of the crash.
