Two men were stabbed, one fatally, during a brawl in upper Manhattan after the Dominican Day Parade early Monday, police said.
A 23-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen and a man the same age was stabbed in the upper body about 12:40 a.m. during a large brawl on Nagle Ave. near Arden St. in Inwood, cops said.
Medics rushed the first victim to Harlem Hospital but he could not be saved. His name was not immediately released.
The other victim was taken to New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital and is in stable condition.
There were no immediate arrests.
The stabbing came amidst celebrations in the neighborhood in the hours after the Dominican Day Parade. It was not clear if there was a connection between the slaying and those celebrations.
A Dominican flag lay crumpled on the sidewalk as part of the crime scene as cops investigated.
