MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Two people were transported to an area hospital after they were injured in a two-vehicle collision Friday morning on the southwest side of Manhattan, officials said.
The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. Friday in the 6300 block of Fort Riley Boulevard.
Upon their arrival on the scene, Riley County Police officers found a 2023 GMC Sierra, driven by Andrew Biery, 40, of Manhattan, had collided with a 2023 Chrysler Voyager, driven by Andrea Carter, 47, of Manhattan.

Rosaline Sheppard, 51, was a passenger in the Voyager, officials said.
Carter and Sheppard, who were both passengers in the Voyager, were transported to Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan.
The extent of their injuries wasn’t immediately available.
Carter was issued a citation for improper driving on a laned roadway, Riley County Police officials said.
