Festivities launch with the official Dairy Day Awards Ceremony in the Expo Center, where agricultural leaders honor top-performing dairy farms and processing operations. The morning schedule features the presentation of the Dairy Products Competition awards, recognizing excellence across fluid milk, artisan cheese, cultured yogurt, and ice cream categories. Industry organizations also present service honors to individuals making substantial contributions to herd management, farm sustainability, and dairy extension work.

Interactive public attractions return to the Dairy Products Building, centered around the iconic 800-pound butter sculpture crafted from regional dairy stock. Fairgoers can visit the newly renovated Milk Bar—operated in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension and supplied by Upstate Niagara Cooperative—to purchase 25-cent cups of chilled milk. Following the morning awards, the popular Undeniably Dairy Shake-Off celebrity milkshake competition takes place in its new location at the Wegmans Demonstration Kitchen.

Educational outreach remains a central pillar of the event, headlined by the returning Mobile Dairy Experience, a 53-foot interactive exhibit detailing modern milk assembly, herd care, and environmental stewardship. The Dairy Cattle Barn and the Dairy Discovery Center offer additional close-up views into modern milking operations and cattle handling practices. These installations aim to bridge the gap between urban consumers and the working farm families driving the state’s agricultural economy.
