It’s time to start planning for the new school year. New school supplies, backpacks and lunchboxes are on the list.

Open houses are planned in the Osseo Area School District and the Anoka-Hennepin School District. Find out more details here.

Osseo Area Schools

The Osseo Area School District has open houses set up for elementary and secondary schools.

All elementary schools will have open houses on Wednesday, Sept. 2, unless noted. Elementary times are:

* Aspen Ridge from 4:30-7 p.m.

* Basswood from 4:30-5:30 p.m. (last names A-L) and 5:30-6:30 p.m. (last names M-Z). New family orientation on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 11 a.m.

* Birch Grove School for the Arts from 5-6:30 p.m.

* Cedar Island from 5-6:30 p.m.

* Edinbrook from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

* Elm Creek from 4:30-6 p.m.

* Fair Oaks from 4:30-6 p.m.

* Fernbrook from 4-5:30 p.m.

* Garden City from 4:30-6:30 p.m. (Sensory open house 3:30-4:15 p.m.)

* Oak View from 4:30-6 p.m.

* Palmer Lake from 5-6:30 p.m.

* Park Brook from 4:30-6 p.m.

* Rice Lake from 4:30-6 p.m.

* Rush Creek from 4:30-6 p.m.

* Weaver Lake: A Science, Math & Technology School from 5-6:30 p.m.

* Woodland on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 5-6:30 p.m.

* Zanewood Community: A STEAM School from 4-5:30 p.m.

The middle school and high school open houses or learning conferences are as follows:

* 279Online hosting in-person open house on Sept. 2 from 4-7 p.m.

* Brooklyn Middle STEAM School will have new student orientation on Aug. 26 from 9-11:30 a.m.

* Maple Grove Middle School will have sixth grade orientation for last names A-K on Monday, Aug. 24, from 9 a.m.-noon and those with last names L-Z on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 9 a.m.-noon. New seventh and eighth grade student orientation is Aug. 26 from 9-10:30 a.m.

* North View Middle School will have academic planning conferences on Sept. 2 from 4-7 p.m.

* Osseo Middle School will have learning conferences on Sept. 2 from 3:30-7 p.m.

* 279Online will host an in-person open house on Sept. 2 from 4-7 p.m.

* Maple Grove Senior High will host in-person orientation on Aug. 26 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

* Osseo Area Learning Center will host in-person orientation on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 4-7 p.m.

* Osseo Senior High will have learning conferences on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 4-7 p.m.

* Park Center Senior High’s ninth grade student orientation is Aug. 26 from 8 a.m.-noon. The 10th to 12th grade orientation is Aug. 26 from noon-3 p.m.

Anoka-Hennepin Schools

Schools in the Anoka-Hennepin district in the cities of Brooklyn Park, Champlin and Dayton have set their open houses.

Elementary schools will host their open houses on Sept. 2 at the following times:

* Champlin-Brooklyn Park Academy from 4:30-6 p.m.

* Dayton from 4:30-6 p.m.

* Evergreen from 4:30-6 p.m.

* Monroe from 4-6 p.m.

* Oxbow Creek from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Middle school and high schools have also set the following open houses:

* Jackson Middle School is Sept. 1, from 6-8 p.m.

* Champlin Park High School is Sept. 2 from 5-7 p.m.
