THROGGS NECK, the Bronx (PIX11) — A woman was shot when a gunman fired into her car while she was pulling into the driveway of her Bronx home Monday night, according to police sources.

The shooting happened on Hollywood and Dewey avenues in Throggs Neck at around 10:09 p.m., according to the NYPD.

The shooter got out of his car and walked up to the victim’s vehicle before firing one shot, hitting the 34-year-old woman in the arm and buttocks, police and sources said.

The woman’s son was with her, but it was unclear if he was in the car.

A video of the scene showed a black car in the driveway and another black vehicle parked in front of the home.

The woman was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

It was unclear if the victims were targeted.

Sources said the gunman was wearing all black and fled in his vehicle. The suspect was last seen driving south on Hollywood Avenue.

There have been no arrests.
