Child drowns in pool in Hartford, New York, police say
HARTFORD, N.Y. —
Police are investigating after a child drowned in a pool near Fort Ann on Tuesday.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said a child drowned at a home on Route 40 in Hartford around 3:20 p.m.
First responders tried to save the child and transported them to Glens Falls Hospital, where the victim was pronounced dead.
Additional details about the age of the child were not made public.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
