The name “7th Street Burger” pays homage to the brand’s first location, which opened in 2021 at 91 East 7th Street in the East Village in Manhattan. The concept was created by college friends Kevin Razvani and Paras Jain. Since then, the chain has expanded across Manhattan and into Queens, Brooklyn, and New Jersey. In 2025, the New York smashburger hotspot expanded to 19 additional locations in New York, Massachusetts, Maryland, District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and New Jersey. The chain has set its sights on a new location outside of the five NYC boroughs, marking its first Westchester location at 2270 Central Park Avenue in Yonkers this September.
“Westchester is a ket part of our expansion strategy. It offers the high-traffic locations our model thrives in, and its proximity to New York gives us the advantage of expanding into a market where many commuters and residents are familiar with the brand,” says Sarah Milner, marketing manager at 7th Street Burger.
Keeping it Simple and Irresistible
One of the best things about 7th Street Burger is how the burgers (and fries) keep pulling you back in for more. The menu features items like the classic cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, and a Spicy Jalapeño Double Cheeseburger. Vegetarian burgers include a Double Impossible Burger and a Spicy Jalapeño Impossible Burger. The classic cheeseburger consists of a single beef patty from with Schweid & Sons, American cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and a secret house sauce served on a Martin’s potato bun. Whether you’re chasing an insatiable craving or just looking to recover after a night out, the double cheeseburger always delivers. For an extra spice kick, go for the Spicy Jalapeño Impossible Burger. On the beverage side, 7th Street offers water, Mexican Coke, and Fanta.
“7th Street is three guys on the grill, with three items on the menu, and nine ingredients in the restaurant,” says Kevin Revzani, co-founder of 7th Street Burger.
A Side of Fries
A 7th Street Burger order isn’t complete without a side of fries. You can order classic fries or level up with Cajun fries, Loaded Fries topped with a chopped beef burger, American cheese, grilled onions, and house sauce, or Spicy Jalapeño Loaded Fries with ghost pepper sauce. Vegetarian options for both Loaded Fries and Spicy Jalapeño Loaded Impossible Fries are available.

“Just north of our Bronx shop, [the expansion to Yonkers] builds on our existing footprint while allowing us to serve a new community. We’re excited to bring Yonkers an affordable, high-quality fast casual burger option that’s open all day into late night,” Milner adds.
The smashburger chain is continuing to look for new opportunities to expand on the East Coast—and, hopefully, in additional Westchester locations. 7th Street Burger fans can also purchase merch online to show off their love for one of New York’s favorite smashburger spots.
