Advocates say year-round roadway dining to help restaurants

The City Council approved year-round roadway dining in addition to sidewalk cafes in New York City.

Advocates of the newly passed legislation said this move will encourage more restaurants to build outdoor dining structures and attract more customers all year round.

Sara Lind, the co-executive director at Open Plans, a nonprofit focused on improving the city’s streets and public spaces, joined NY1’s Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Friday to discuss more.
