The 15th week of the 2026 AVP season heads to California for the Manhattan Beach Open.

The upsets were served all day for both the men and the women’s brackets in Manhattan Beach, California, to kick off the AVP Manhattan Beach Open. In the men’s bracket, the top-seeded team of Chase Budinger and Trevor Crabb was upset in the first round. The top-seeded team in the women’s bracket is still alive, but aside from the team of Taryn Brasher and Kristen Cruz, only two other top 10-seeded teams are still alive. They take on the eighth-seeded team of Chloe Loreen and Corinne Quiggle. That matchup is the only one featuring two teams seeded in the top 10 in either the men’s or women’s brackets.

In the men’s bracket, the big match of the day is between third-seeded Chaim Schalk and James Shaw taking on sixth-seeded Paul Lotman and Miles Partain. That is the only matchup of top 10 seeds this round in the men’s bracket.

The other marquee matchup in the mens bracket is between second-seeded Andy Benesh and Taylor Crabb taking on seventh-seeded Troy Field and Ryan Cox. the bottom half of the bracket features four top-six seeded teams.

Also in the women’s bracket is a match between 12th-seeds Madelyne Anderson and Alaina Chacon taking on 13th-seed Isabella Martinez and Toni Rodriguez. The winner of that match will take on the winner of Brasher and Cruz taking on Loreen and Quiggle.
