The Beacon High School swimming pool has reopened after sustaining structural damage in April when firefighters rescued a child whose finger was trapped in a gap in the pool’s edge.
The pool is open weekdays from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. through Sept. 4. Beginning Sept. 8, it will be open weekdays from 5:30 to 6:45 a.m. (users must exit the building by 7 a.m.) and 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. (users must exit by 9 p.m.).
On Saturdays, it will be open from 10 to 11:45 a.m., and users must be out by noon. There are modified hours on some dates. A six-month or annual membership is required and costs $100 to $200 for residents and $150 to $275 for non-residents. See dub.sh/beacon-pool.
