The Philadelphia Union are remarkably five points out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference after Sunday’s 3-2 come-from-behind win over New York City.
The Union overcame a two-goal deficit for the second league game in a row and have now set themselves up for a true go at the postseason.
Interim head coach Ryan Richter has been quick to give credit to the players after every win since he took over, but this turnaround isn’t possible without the features of the club that Richter re-installed.
