Athletic lifestyle brand Beyond Yoga has expanded its brick-and-mortar presence on the US’s West Coast, opening a 1,500 square foot store in Manhattan Beach, California.

The Los Angeles-based brand activewear label described the opening as a “meaningful homecoming” in a press release on Monday. Located at 324 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, the store houses Beyond Yoga’s women’s, men’s, and maternity collections along with its loungewear, travel styles, and the recently launched ‘glowzone’ collection.
Along with its retail offering, the store will offer shoppers in-person experiences that centre around showcasing its signature soft fabrics and inclusive sizing, which ranges from XXS to 4X, and highlighting its wellness-focused and community-driven brand ethos. The new location is designed to cater to both beachside visitors and local residents, building brand recognition in the area.
Beyond Yoga’s Manhattan Beach opening follows a period of retail expansion including recent East Coast openings in Maryland, Greenwich, and Westport, CT, The label plans to continue to “to bring its signature blend of comfort, performance, and inclusivity to new markets,” it announced in its release.
The label was founded in 2005 by Jodi Guber Brufsky and Michelle Wahler and was acquired by Levi Strauss & Co in 2021, operating independently with the support of its parent company’s global capabilities. Beyond Yoga counts over 1,218 wholesale accounts in both US and international markets, according to Levi Strauss & Co’s website.
