President Donald Trump’s relationship with the press has always been a defining aspect of his administration, popularizing the term “fake news” and having declared the press “the enemy of the American people.”
Trump has also directly insulted reporters, but few journalists have faced the president’s wrath as much as Maggie Haberman.
She’s the co-author of a new book called “Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump,” published by Simon & Schuster, which focuses on the first year of Trump’s second term.
Haberman, a White House correspondent for The New York Times, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Monday to talk about the book and more.
