SYRACUSE, New York (WWNY) – Eight hundred pounds of butter have arrived at the New York State Fairgrounds, where the butter will take shape into the 58th annual butter sculpture.
The sculpture is the showpiece of the dairy products building. It serves as a tribute to dairy farmers.
The unveiling of the butter sculpture and its theme will take place next week. The fair runs August 26 through September 7.
