Tucked away in Pound Ridge, New York, a bucolic Westchester County town about 43 miles northeast of Manhattan and bordering Connecticut, rests a striking mirrored retreat designed by KieranTimberlake. The Philadelphia-based architecture firm—whose projects include the U.S. Embassy in London—perched the home atop 19.5 acres of forest, meadows, granite outcroppings, and protected conservation land.
Commissioned by mutual fund manager Michael Kagan and his wife, Olga, a film producer, the glass, zinc-coated copper, and mirror-polished stainless steel structure was completed in 2014. Per The Wall Street Journal, the couple originally paid $1.75 million for a roughly 33-acre property with a circa-1950s home. They later sold that house on a 3.52-acre lot, donated 10 acres to local land conservation, and built their custom masterpiece on the remaining acreage. Now living primarily in Miami, the Kagans have listed the estate for $15 million with Brian Milton of Compass.

Spanning almost 4,500 square feet, the gated residence offers four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and a powder room. Elegant, gallery-like interiors on two levels are defined by soaring white oak ceilings, walnut millwork, and a curved floating staircase. Modern conveniences include an elevator and geothermal heating.
A towering front door leads into a double-height entry foyer, where a 17-foot-long glass-enclosed bridge traversing a narrow ravine separates the single-level public wing and the two-story private sleeping wing. Standing out is a fireside living room, which connects to a dining space and a sleek German Eggersmann-designed kitchen.
