Strong New York, named by Forbes as one of the country’s top fitness festivals, returns to The Glasshouse on Saturday, September 26, 2026. This year, Strong New York brings ATHX Games, the Adidas-backed hybrid fitness competition, to New York City for the first time.
Featuring returning title sponsors including Celsius, SweatPals, Impact Kitchen, and TMPL, the full-day event brings together celebrity trainers, industry experts, and 100+ wellness brands under one roof, welcoming more than 5,000 attendees for a full day of training, competitions, and wellness activations. Attendees can expect workouts led by top instructors, expert panels, a recovery and wellness zone, a healthy food marketplace, and brand activations designed to help people connect and become the strongest version of themselves both physically and mentally.
“When we started Strong New York, the vision was simple: create a place where people could come together to challenge themselves, learn from the best, and leave stronger than they arrived,” said Kenny Santucci, Founder of Strong New York. “Seeing thousands of people show up year after year proves that New York was ready for a fitness festival of this scale. Bringing ATHX Games to the city is another step forward because it reflects where fitness is headed: performance, competition, and community all coming together under one roof.”
At the heart of this year’s festival is the Test of Strength & Longevity, powered by Concept2, a first-of-its-kind fitness benchmark designed for every attendee. Participants can test themselves across seven one-minute challenges, including pull-ups, push-ups, deadlifts, grip strength, rowing, biking, and running, then log their scores through a new mobile app to compare results with participants around the world. Throughout the day, a live leaderboard will track performances before crowning New York’s strongest man and woman.
At Strong New York, attendees will get their first taste of the ATHX format through an exclusive FitScore activation: a 45-minute experience that puts athletes through Strength, Endurance, and MetCon testing to generate a personal FitScore, ATHX’s proprietary performance metric. Scored out of 100, FitScore benchmarks attendees against real-world athletic standards to serve as a baseline metric for where they stand today and where they can go.
Mark Hartnett-Morgan, Co-Founder of ATHX Games & PerformX Live, shared, “Strong New York brings together the kind of athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and communities that embody what ATHX is all about, making it the perfect setting to bring ATHX to New York City. We’re excited to introduce the STRONG community to a new way of testing and measuring performance, and to bring the energy of ATHX to one of the world’s most influential fitness cities.”
This year, Strong New York presents “Miles for Change,” in support of its official charity partner, Back on My Feet. Participants can walk, jog or run toward a collective mileage goal, with every mile helping create opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness. Together, Strong New York and Back on My Feet are showing that strength is a state of mind, and that nobody runs alone.
