If the Ruby Tiara exhibits theatrical flair, then the Pearl Poiré Tiara is characterised by romantic affections. The tiara originated in Berlin in 1825 and gained prominence owing to its usage among European royals before landing in Danish royal jewellery. Characteristically, the design is embellished with pear-shaped pearls hanging from a framework encrusted with diamonds, making it look almost like it is floating. Queen Margrethe II is widely associated with the luxury piece, where Queen Mary gave a new twist to the history of the tiara by wearing it on an official visit to Norway in May 2024, notably because, after several decades, the rare tiara was not worn by the current queen but by Queen Mary.
