ROSEDALE, Queens (WABC) — A tanker truck has overturned in the middle of the street in Queens and is leaking 3,000 gallons of fuel.
Both FDNY and Nassau Fire Department responded to Rockaway Boulevard in Rosedale around 10:30 a.m.
Officials say the driver struck a utility pole, which caused the 18-wheeler to overturn.
There is no word on injuries or what caused the driver to hit the pole.
All lanes on Rockaway Turnpike from the intersections of Peninsula Boulevard to Brookville Boulevard are closed in both directions.
