If you’re wondering what’s new at this year’s Great New York State Fair, check out the list of new food vendors and what they will be serving. Many of them are local restauranteurs such as Baja Cali Taco, Boom Boom Mex Mex, Mamacita’s, Funk ‘n Waffles, Blueberries & Lace and many more.  

New York State Fair Director Julie LaFave said they are bringing back Tasty Tuesday on Sept. 1 when vendors can serve samples from between $3 and $5. 

“We have more participating this year than ever before. We have a page on our website where you can see pictures submitted of what the Tasty Tuesday samples will be,” LaFave said.  

Many of the new vendors are participating in Tasty Tuesday. Their samples can be found on the fair’s website.  

Baga Bowls On the Go – Acai, Pitaya, banana bowls served in a pineapple 

Baja Cali Taco – Tacos, burritos, nachos and quesadillas

Boom Boom Mex Mex Taqueria and Cantina – Super loaded nachos, taco salads

Blueberries & Lace – Coffee, cold brew, lattes, mocha, matcha, teas and light pastries 

Brody’s Mac & Cheese – Scratch made mac & cheese served plain or topped with popcorn chicken and various sauces

Churro Co. – Churro sticks and bowls

Humpty’s Dumplings – Cheesesteak and Asian pork dumplings

Cuddle crepes – French style crepes  

Dude’s donuts – Apple cider donuts, raised sugar donut, various pie donuts

East Hill Creamery – Artisan cheese, gruyere and raclette style  

Redneck Reuben Union – Reuben and corned beef sandwiches

Five Star Pickles and Sausages – Artisan pickles, cured meats and cheeses

Funk ‘n Waffles – Chicken ‘n waffles, thanksgiving waffle (jive turkey)

Golden fire corp.  – Asian bao buns

Al Forno Ferruzza Pizzeria – Pizza by the slice, authentic hand tossed Sicilian style pizza, octopus pizza slice

Hollywood Taco Shop – Southern California Mexican food, California burritos, Mexican pizza, elote

Yum Yum Corner – Korean fried chicken, Korean corn dogs

Knightly Rose Signature sorbet & soft serve – Signature soft serve with various fruit flavors, dairy-free fruit sorbet

Mamacitas Spanish Fusion – Tacos, burritos and Mexican fusion

Mr. Flavours food – Smash burgers

Tikka Street – Chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, butter chicken, UFO burger, chicken tikka on a stick, samosa, chicken tikka wrap, iced matcha and mango lassi

Petu Haitian Soule food – Haitian style chicken wings, fried pork, fish, fried beef, black rice, rice with red beans, fried plantain, pikliz, and Haitian mac and cheese

The Shrimp Truck – Shrimp basket, pineapple shrimp bowls, shrimp tacos

Seasoned Green – Cauliflower wings, jerk chicken crunchadilla (all vegan, dairy free and plant-based options)
