On Saturday, August 8, Pat Babor, a past President of the Astoria Civic Association, hosted her 5th annual afternoon get-together at her home in Hampton Bays for her friends from Astoria. Several attending were past Board members from the Astoria Civic Association. Besides Pat Babor, Joan DiMarco and Paul Halvatzis, both past Presidents, also were also in attendance. Ms. Babor, with the help of Anna Kril and others, put together a spread of delicious foods and desserts. On a perfect weather day, the event was a huge success enjoyed by all.
