One man is in critical condition, and two others are injured after a drive-by shooting on a Bronx street Thursday afternoon.
According to police sources, the incident took place outside of a laundromat located at 552 Commonwealth Ave. at around 3:17 p.m. on Aug. 20. Cops say the three men were standing on the sidewalk when a white SUV traveling northbound on Commonwealth pulled up and an occupant inside fired at least four times before pulling away.
A 29-year-old man was struck in the head, a 28-year-old man was hit in the lower back, and a 29-year-old man was wounded in the bicep. All three were rushed to Jacobi Hospital. The victim struck in the head is listed in critical condition while the remaining two are expected to survive.
Several vehicles were also struck with gunfire.
Police say they are on the hunt for the SUV but so far no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
