Dollar Tree will soon move into a shuttered Rite Aid location in the Eltingville Shopping Center on Amboy Road in Staten Island. The discount retailer signed a long-term lease and will take over about 10,000 square feet of space. The former Rite Aid space is expected to open before the end of the year. Rite Aid closed the Eltingville location in July 2025, and the storefront has been vacant since then. The company also says the center serves as a major retail hub with a strong mix of national and local tenants. The center also houses Sofia’s Taqueria, Alfonso’s Bakery, Advance Auto Parts, Santander Bank, and Richmond Optometry.
