Earlier this week, an issue at one of the city’s 911 call centers in the Bronx temporarily prevented hundreds of New Yorkers from reaching an emergency operator.
Now, city officials and advocates are speaking out and demanding answers.
City Council Member Oswald Feliz, who represents neighborhoods in the Bronx including Fordham, East Tremont and Belmont, joined “Inside City Hall” to discuss what happened. Feliz is also the chair of the Committee on Public Safety.
