Cops are looking for the suspect who allegedly fired a gun multiple times at the front on a commercial establishment on College Point Boulevard in Queensboro Hill.

Police from the 109th Precinct are looking for a gunman who fired off several shots in Queensboro Hill during the early morning hours of Monday, Aug. 17.
Police say the suspect was in front of a commercial establishment at 42-32 College Point Blvd. just after 3:30 a.m. when he displayed and discharged a firearm multiple times, causing property damage to the front door and windows, police said. The unidentified individual fled the location on foot, traveling southbound on College Point Boulevard toward Avery Avenue. There were no injuries reported during the shooting incident.
The NYPD released a surveillance image of the suspect on Aug. 20 and asked for the public’s help in identifying him. He has a light complexion with short black hair and a receding hairline, with a medium build and was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt with white stripes on the arms, black jeans and white and black sneakers.
A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to his arrest and indictment.

Through Aug. 16, the 109th Precinct has reported four shooting incidents so far in 2026, one fewer than the five reported at the same point last year, a decline of 20%, according to the most recent CompStat report.
