Publang will release Healer, a web novel by Mechanist, through web serialization.
The publisher noted that the lineup expands its approach of licensing manhwa adaptations alongside the original novels, following titles such as Payback, Define the Relationship, and PASSION.
Publang, which began as a translation agency, has since grown into a publisher with a stated mission to produce the most faithful and contextually resonant translations possible. The company has previously emphasized its core editorial philosophy, “The Art of Localization,” which rests on guiding principles:
Faithful to the Original – Prioritizing the preservation of the author’s voice and intent with minimal changes.
Contextual Localization – Maintaining cultural markers such as Korean familial terms like “hyung” while restructuring text for clarity and flow in English.
