A 22-year-old woman was killed in a hit and run in the West Village.
WEST VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) — A hit-and-run claimed the life of a 22-year-old woman in the West Village.
Police say a gray SUV struck her as she crossed 6th Avenue near Washington Place shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday.
The woman was in a crosswalk at the time.
Police have not released the victim’s name. They are currently looking for the driver.
