CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Breeze Airways flights from Charleston’s West Virginia International Yeager Airport to Newark Liberty International Airport are being ‘seasonally suspended.’
A spokesperson for the Breeze Airways said the suspension will come after Jan. 3, 2027.
“Seasonal adjustments to air service are common and can vary from year to year based on historical demand and booking patterns,” said a spokesperson for West Virginia International Yeager Airport.
They go on to say, “A seasonal suspension does not necessarily mean the service is ending permanently, and we’ll continue to monitor any updates from Breeze.”
Breeze Airways said they do not currently have a return date set for the route.
The route first took flight in November 2024.
