D’Andre Smith played the hero in the Syracuse win, Jefferson Rojas had a great day in the field and at the plate in the Rumble Ponies victory, Sammy Stafura had three hits in a Brooklyn blowout and St. Lucie was stifled in their loss.
Triple-A

D’Andre Smith put Syracuse ahead for good with one big swing in the seventh inning. Since his promotion to Triple-A, Smith is running a 1.119 OPS which is a nice capper to an injury-filled year that has limited him to 48 games.
RHP Xzavion Curry (3.84 ERA) 4 2/3 IP, 2 H, 1 BB (41 of 67 pitches for strikes)
The pitching staff allowed two hits and two walks but only struck out three batters against a Woo-Sox lineup featuring five players with MLB experience and top prospect Franklin Arias.

Justin Hagenman had a quality relief outing, getting around trouble in his three inning appearance. Gabe Davis is the story from the game though, striking out seven batters over four innings.

Elian has struggled in his late season promotion, but for being one of the youngest players in High-A in his first year of full-season ball, this is still impressive. Eddinson Paulino hit a grand slam for good measure in the ninth inning.
LHP Daviel Hurtado (2.14 ERA) 5 2/3 IP, 4 H, 1 unearned run, 2 BB, 5 K (52 of 80 pitches for strikes)
RHP Calvin Ziegler (9.00 ERA) 1 IP, 2 BB
Hurtado has been outstanding this season and has managed to keep his peripherals the same as his 2025 season. Calvin Ziegler had another scoreless outing, but has walked 20 batters in nine and one-third innings since his return from injury.
Single-A
Lakeland Flying Tigers (58-59) 12, St. Lucie Mets (51-68) 2
Despite 12 baserunners, St. Lucie was only able to manufacture two runs. Ryan Tayman, who has been hot since he was drafted had a rough day, going 0-for-5 with three strikeouts.
RHP Jose Lopez (7.91 ERA) 5 1/3 IP, 2 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 7 K (45 of 75 pitches for strikes)
Jose Lopez was cruising until the fifth inning where some poor defense would rear its ugly head. Every bullpen pitcher had a run on their ledger, with only Miguel Mejias having the run be unearned.
