State Police arrested a 28-year-old Sand Lake man on felony sexual abuse and child endangerment charges.
Ryan J. Ouimet, 28, of Sand Lake, was arrested Aug. 20, 2026, charged with first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
Troopers said they received a report Aug. 19, 2026, saying that Ouimet had sexual contact with a child under the age of 11 in August 2026 while in Sand Lake.
Ouimet was arrested near his home, arraigned in Schaghticoke Town Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
