Wallace “Wally” LePage, 78, of Norwood passed away on August 19th, 2026 at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.(Funeral Home)
NORWOOD, New York (WWNY) – A Mass of Christian Burial for Wallace “Wally” LePage, 78, a resident of 3087 County Rt. 47, Norwood, will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood with Rev. Raymond Moreau presiding. Burial will be held following the services in Hale Cemetery, Norfolk. Following the services, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Hannawa Falls Fire Departments Hounds Haven, 36 Kenner Road, Hannawa Falls, NY, 13647. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Wally passed away on August 19th, 2026 at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
Wally lived a life defined by hard work, service, family, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, carrying the values of dedication, integrity, and service throughout his life. Following his military service, he was employed by the Norfolk Paper Mill. Wally retired from his career after working 30-years as a millwright at General Motors in Massena, NY, where he earned the respect of colleagues and friends through his dependable nature and strong work ethic.
Wally was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd LePage and Lillian Gravell, his sister Ann Tyler, and his sister Dawn Finnegan. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda LePage, his three sons, Kenneth Eurto, Mark LePage, and Nathan LePage, and his seven beloved grandchildren, Kenny, Jake, Samantha, Moira, Ronan, Valerie, and Corbin. Wally is also survived by his brothers Steve LePage and David LaPage, and his sister Corrine Hamlin.
Wally found happiness in spending time with family and friends and pursuing the activities he loved. He enjoyed working in his garage, golfing, playing cards, camping, traveling, playing his guitar, and singing. Wally especially looked forward to attending the Guam Navy Reunions, where he enjoyed reconnecting, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories. Whether spending time outdoors, enjoying a card game with friends, entertaining family with music, or visiting loved ones at reunions, Wally embraced life with enthusiasm and appreciation. His kindness, sense of humor, strong work ethic, and devotion to those he loved will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
