Great news Falsettos fans! The 10th anniversary Falsettos reunion concert, which quickly sold out when it was put on sale in July, has added a second night. The special event will now run October 18 and November 2 at Carnegie Hall. Tickets for the November 2 performance will go on sale August 26.
The concert will reunite the Broadway cast of the 2016 revival of the William Finn–James Lapine musical. The cast includes Tony winners Stephanie J. Block, Christian Borle, and Brandon Uranowitz; Tracie Thoms; Betsy Wolfe; and Andrew Rannells. The evening will also feature a special guest appearance from Anthony Rosenthal, who played the pre-teen character Jason in that 2016 production.
The production will be directed by Tony-nominated choreographer Ellenore Scott (Ragtime)—who served as assistant choreographer on the 2016 Falsettos. Additionally, Cory Pattak will be the event’s lighting designer. As previously announced, Vadim Feichtner will again music direct and conduct, leading a band made up of most of the production’s original players.
The one-night-only performance will be given in support of The BroadwayEveryDay Foundation and Family Equality.
“Ten years ago, I had the gift of watching these brilliant actors work, and helped bring this beautiful show to life on Broadway as an assistant choreographer,” said Scott in a statement. “Since, this extraordinary company has become a group of dear friends. To return to it all now as director ten years later, surrounded by so many of the artists who made that production special, feels like the most beautiful full-circle moment. There is so much love woven into William Finn’s gorgeous show, and getting to bring this tight knit family back together at Carnegie Hall is truly an honor of a lifetime.”

The revival, which opened in 2016 at the Walter Kerr Theatre via Lincoln Center Theater, was the second time Falsettos played Broadway, following its 1992 original production. Originally produced Off-Broadway as two separate one-act musicals, the work follows the unconventional family that arises after Marvin tells his wife, Trina, that he’s gay. Featuring songs by the late Finn and a book by Lapine (who also directed both of the show’s Broadway bows), the musical was a landmark moment in theatre history, created at the height of the AIDS crisis and becoming one of the first major mainstream depictions of queer life and family units. The 2016 revival was filmed live on stage and later shown on PBS, and was nominated for five 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical.
