BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — The NYPD is searching for a man in connection with a slashing that happened on a subway train in the Bronx on Aug. 17.
The incident happened around 5:50 a.m. on a southbound No. 2 train.

Police say a 31-year-old passenger was approached by a man who engaged him in a verbal dispute.
The unidentified man slashed the victim’s arm with a sharp object, according to the NYPD. The victim managed to get off the train at the Bronx Park East station, where EMS responded and transported him to a local hospital in stable condition.
Police say the suspect remained on the train.
