GEDDES, N.Y. — Smash Shack is returning to the Eatery in the New York State Fair for a second year and is expanding this year.
This year, he’s taking over another location so in addition to Smash Shack, there’s also Honey Shack which will have honey puffs.
Chuck Capousis says last year was a wonderful experience.
“It went exceptionally well,” he said. “We were very well received. We enjoyed it.”

The “classic smash burger” is two juicy beef patties sharp cheese, onions, pickles, mustard and lettuce. It costs $15.
The “signature smash burger” or “Empire State Burger” has three layers of smash burgers with extra sharp cheddar cheese, apple with smoke bacon, caramelized apples, caramelized onion, pickles and a sharp mustard. It costs $22.
