MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A 10-year-old boy who ran away from his home in Manhattan is still missing as of mid-morning Wednesday, Riley County Police officials announced.
The boy, identified only as Victor, was reported missing around 8 p.m. Tuesday after officials said he ran away from his home in Manhattan.
According to a Riley County Police Department Facebook post, Victor was last seen walking northeast from the area of the West Loop Shopping Center, located in the 2700 block of Anderson Avenue on the west side of Manhattan.

Victor was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a black hooded sweatshirt.
He is described as standing 4-feet-6 and weighing approximately 65 pounds.
Riley County Police officials made a Facebook post regarding Victor’s disappearance around 12:41 a.m. Wednesday.
Police officials requested area residents — particularly those in the area of the West Loop Shopping Center — to check their security cameras for any sightings of Victor.
In a post from 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, Riley County Police officials noted that Victor had still not been found and repeated their plea for the public’s help in locating him.
Officials are not requesting a community search party at this time but ask that you share this alert and report any sightings of Victor immediately.
