DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — THE BROOKLYN BOOK FESTIVAL is looking for volunteers to help with the Festival Day and Literary Marketplace on Sunday, Sept. 27, and Children’s Day on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Interested candidates who are over 18 years old can register by Sept. 2.
Volunteers will have a short training session on Zoom and will receive an official Brooklyn Book Festival shirt to wear at the event. Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles, including line monitors, author escorts and information assistants.
This year’s festival features authors Joyce Carol Oates, Marlon James, Tracy K. Smith, Quiara Alegría Hudes and more. The festival hosts in-person and virtual events.
