Staten Island resident Christina Izzo is asking for help after her 7-year-old daughter, Charlotte, suddenly developed jaundice and was hospitalized for days. According to a GoFundMe campaign, Izzo rushed Charlotte to the hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 11 after noticing signs of jaundice. She said Charlotte’s liver enzyme levels were dangerously high, and the family spent four days across multiple hospitals as doctors searched for a cause. Charlotte still has no diagnosis, and Izzo says ongoing bloodwork and medical visits are ahead while she faces additional medical costs.
