MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – Two Manhattan teens were arrested following battery and drug reports at Manhattan High School on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
According to the Riley Co. Police Department (RCPD), a 14-year-old male from Manhattan was arrested just after 2:30 p.m. for distribution of certain substances in KSA 65-4105(h) within 1000 feet of a school. The juvenile was issued no bond and transported to the North Central Kansas Juvenile Detention Center in Junction City.
In addition, just after 2:30 p.m. officers arrested a 15-year-old Manhattan male for the following:
Two counts of battery of a school employeeOne count of battery of a law enforcement officerOne count of distribution of certain substances in KSA 65-4105(h) within 1000 feet of a schoolOne count of interference with a law enforcement officer
RCPD listed three men, ages 58, 54 and 46, as alleged victims in the report in connection with the juvenile. The 15-year-old was issued no bond and transported to the Sunlight Children’s Home in Andover.
