NEW YORK (PIX11) – The Rockefeller Christmas Tree has officially arrived in New York City on Saturday!
The 75-foot Norway Spruce from East Greenbush, N.Y., was cut on Thursday, according to the Rockefeller Center’s website. Organizers said it was brought to the city at 10 a.m.
Other celebrations and festivities for families are being held throughout the day at the South Plaza, Under 30 Rock and Top of the Rock. For more information on how to attend, click here.
The tree lighting will be held on Dec. 3 during the “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” live broadcast, which can be watched on NBC and Peacock starting at 8 p.m.
Reba McEntire is set to host the show, and the 50,000 multi-colored lights and Swarovski star will be lit at 10 p.m.
