Miller’s Ale House in New Springville is closing in late September, after 12 years of service. The final day will be Sept. 25, according to management, and the reason for the closure was not immediately clear. The Staten Island location opened on Richmond Avenue in 2014 and became a busy casual dining spot. It was known for sports viewing, budget-friendly meals, Zingers chicken tenders, and about 60 televisions. The chain continues to invest in its brand, even as the New Springville restaurant prepares to close.
