NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Sunday’s forecast will reach highs near 83, bringing a sunny start to the week.

Clouds will build through the afternoon, and a scattered shower is possible by late Sunday.

If you’re working or commuting overnight or heading out early Monday, prepare for a few possible downpours across the region.

Monday will start off cloudy, but some sunshine is expected by the afternoon. Highs will reach the 80s, and humidity will noticeably increase.

Strong thunderstorms could develop Tuesday afternoon in the Hudson Valley area and remain throughout the evening.

Humidity will peak on Wednesday, with a higher chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and overnight.

Conditions will trend drier heading into next weekend.
