The US Open is the biggest tennis event of the year, and it’s a time filled with sports, celebrities, and fashion. But it’s also known for its food and drink offerings, and no cocktail is more famous at the tournament than the Honey Deuce.

It makes sense why the Honey Deuce is so beloved. The melon skewers are an adorable nod toward tennis balls, and the cocktail itself is cool, refreshing, and delicious. It’s also incredibly Instagram-friendly (which you know we all care about more than we may want to admit!), and a great way to cool down during the hot tournament.

But it seems that over time, this cocktail has gotten so big that now people are trying to find ways to enjoy it outside of the tournament, without getting US Open tickets or attending a single match!

In fact, a representative for Total Wine & More, the nation’s largest independent retailer of wine and spirits, shared with me in an email that transactions containing the Honey Deuce’s ingredients (Grey Goose and Chambord) surged 243% during the final two weeks of the 2025 U.S. Open compared with the weeks prior. For those that do not want to do the math, that means an 800% increase during the same period in 2024, and more than 1,000% growth in transactions across the past two tournaments.

This September, the Grey Goose Last Serve Bar will be at Grand Central Station in New York City, and it’s a great way to get a free Grey Goose Honey Deuce before beginning your commute home, and made by the people who invented this cocktail!

The Grey Goose Last Serve Bar will be open from 5–8 PM and 10 PM–1 AM on Wednesday, September 2 and Thursday, September 3 at Grand Central Terminal Vanderbilt Hall.

For those that can’t make it to Grand Central get get a free cocktail on those days, there’s some great options elsewhere to buy one.

For those who want to have a New York City tourist moment, Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises is partnering with Grey Goose to serve up the Honey Deuce on all sightseeing and Sip ‘N Groove cruises for the full run of the tournament.

On the hotel front, both the Arlo Williamsburg and Arlo NoMad are also partnering with Grey Goose , and will have the Honey Deuce on the menu, even served with tennis ball shaped melon garnishes.
