Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking people with a high level of tennis skill to portray players in the “Untitled Tennis Project,” according to a casting call.
The background role pays $241 for eight hours and will film outdoors in Queens, the casting company said. Tentative shoot dates are Sept. 14 and 15 at night and Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 during the day.
Applicants must be at least 18, local to the New York/New Jersey area, and provide their tennis experience and skill level. Both SAG-AFTRA members and non-union applicants can submit.
Those interested should email [email protected] with the subject line “IG TENNIS PLAYER,” along with their name, phone number, union status, availability, height, weight, clothing and shoe sizes, tennis experience, and current full-length and selfie photos.
The role is covered by the SAG-AFTRA collective bargaining agreement and subject to a preference of employment provision, according to the casting call. Applicants must also be able to provide valid identification to complete a federal I-9 form and be paid.
