Salumeria Rosi, the authentic Northern Italian neighborhood restaurant from owner Andrew Loscalzo, is set to reopen its East Village location at 222 Avenue B, with the café welcoming guests back September 8th and the restaurant reopening September 11th after a temporary closure caused by severe weather and flooding in early July.
Since opening in February, Salumeria Rosi has quickly become a neighborhood favorite, earning a loyal local following for its casual, sophisticated dining experience, exceptional food, and service.
The restaurant will return with the café, which opens daily with coffee alongside freshly baked goods and additional breakfast menu items served in the restaurant. The full menu is available all day into the evening when the lights are dimmed, and the restaurant transforms into a lively cocktail bar and restaurant.
In late September, Salumeria Rosi will be open late-night until 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays with music and a small bites menu.
Inviting outdoor seating and a warm interior make it perfect for everything from a quick breakfast to an elegant lunch, a relaxed dinner, or a leisurely weekend brunch reminiscent of being in Milan.
