Pete Davidson and Colin Jost are finally putting their viral purchase to use. Four years after buying a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry, the SNL stars are turning the vessel into a floating comedy club for a one-night-only event in New York City.
On Thursday, September 17, the duo will host a free, 60-minute comedy show with sets from some of comedy’s fastest rising stars. Partnering with Snapple and produced by the team behind The Stand Comedy Club, the event offers New Yorkers a rare chance to step aboard the iconic boat for live entertainment, snacks, and drinks.
Turning the ferry into a floating comedy club with Snapple makes more sense than anything else we considered, and it still doesn’t make much sense. Either way, we’re giving people a chance to take a break, have a laugh and do something completely ridiculous with us. – Pete Davidson

“Snapple Island Ferry”: a one-night-only comedy event
When Davidson and Jost first bought the ferry back in 2022, they envisioned converting the vessel into a floating live entertainment, arts, and event space. Now, that dream is officially coming to life.
Partnering with Snapple to give New Yorkers an “unexpectedly refreshing break from the daily grind,” here’s what guests can expect aboard:
Star-Studded Hosts: Live hosting sets from Pete Davidson and Colin Jost
Surprise Lineup: Stand-up sets from comedy’s hottest rising stars (with the lineup revealed on Snapple’s social channels ahead of the show)
Refreshments: Snapple beverages and snacks throughout the night
How to get free tickets
Tickets are completely free, but availability is extremely limited:
Release Schedule: A limited batch of free tickets will drop daily at 3 pm ET from Thursday, September 3 through Tuesday, September 8
Ticket Limit: One pair (two tickets) per person
Where to Claim: Reserve tickets online via the official event portal
For those unable to secure tickets, clips and content from the show will stream across Snapple’s social media channels following the event.
